Job Description:

The Social Media & Marketing Intern is responsible for all the creative content deliverable for brand, product launches, social media.

Main responsibilities:

  • Leveraging apps like Hootsuite to track weekly progress on all social media platforms.
  • Tracking the progress of company website blog/poster creation and distribution.
  • Create and drive awareness of our regional/market launch events by liaising with and building relationships with influencers.
  • Research appropriate online sites, forums, networks for the target market for telling a stronger stories of our products.
  • Use photos, videos and web content to create interesting posts on a daily basis.
  • Creating inventive and viral ad campaigns to assist in product launches in exciting smartphone and IoT product line ups.
  • Be part of the ninja marketing team in making impact on launching new exciting tech products!

Requirements of the role

  • Fun and outstanding writing skills.
  • Super social personality and very catchy on today’s trend on social media.
  • Advanced knowledge of using video editing or graphic design skills preferred.
  • Knowledge or Experienced in Facebook Ads, Google Analytics and Google Adwords preferred.
  • Project management experience and attention to detail and organization would be a definite advantage.

  • Effectively collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure successful launch execution through strategic go-to-market planning
  • Execute a go-to-market process, working as the project manager and coordinator between multiple stakeholders and groups, with an eye towards product audience and positioning
  • Lead multiple internal and external cross functional alignment meetings which requires strong leadership, organization, and collaboration
  • Communicate device specifications from a consumer-benefit perspective to assist in the development of relevant product use cases and messaging
  • Use strategic thinking to develop product positioning, vision, strategy and messaging for new products
  • Monitor field activities to evaluate customer experience and product satisfaction to highlight marketing opportunities and risks
  • Coordinate internal and external communication about product releases


  • 2+ years marketing experience in one or more of the following categories: software/hardware, web, telecommunications, consumer electronics, consumer packaged goods or retail
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Knowledge of go to market strategies and marketing life cycle management.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to convey business and technical concepts to subject matter experts and non-technical professionals
  • Experience in defining and executing go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to influence, lead and coach cross functional teams
  • Ability to work in fast paced and highly competitive industry with collaborative approach
  • Requires strong leadership skills
  • Strong communications skills by presentation, written and verbal methods
  • Broad understanding of program and product management concepts
